    97 m3 stomp test

Had my first day on track with this car... she did very well..... I ran at 75% as its so new to me.

During a session I got a check engine light....still have it.

    car runs fine seemingly.

Why does car appear to have no STOMP test reaction? nothing happens?.........5 or 6 gas pedal pumps to floor...nada?

    this is surprising to me..

    anyone?

    thanks

    Negative.

This works great for a cheap read/clear option.

The Foxwell NT510/520/530 that ECS relabels is a good tool with some bidirectional ability. You get one free brand specific module with purchase when you register the tool. Choose BMW/Mini.

OBD1, do the tap dance and have a quality paper clip available to clear the check light afterwards. OBD2, buy an easy to use scan tool and plug it in.

Take it to Autozone, they'll let you read the code for free, but only after they ask you for the year, make and model
