Mike,
Unfortunately, no CIB for me. From top to bottom are an aircrew badge and Pathfinder badge, along with the Airborne and air assault badges on the pocket. Obviously the Air assault badge design owes a lot to the glider badge from ww2.
One of the very interesting and honorable tasks I have performed was when, in 2011,I was tasked to escort the remains of a soldier from Hawaii to Arlington. The catch was that this particular soldier was a glider infantryman who was killed during the battle of the bulge, in Holland. It took that much time for his remains to be discovered and eventually identified via DNA testing of the relatives of Mia soldiers. The remains were brought to Hawaii because the agency responsible for ID is here on Oahu, probably because the majority of remaining MIA soldiers are located around the Pacific. It was a good mission, finally bringing that young man home to his family.

Nice! It never ceases to amaze he how nice these cars look in just about any color. The lines are just sublime.
For some weird reason I can't view www.8coupe.com - website says my computer is blocked... Oh well I would have thought I would be of interest owning a bunch of e31's, but that's Ok ...Their loss...
I've also been blocked from entering the 8coupe site from my home computer - it won't allow access from my IP address (Telecom NZ = only the largest IP in this country!).
I've asked Reinhard to allow it from that end, but as yet this has not been done, so for now I can only access the site from my work computer, which can be a PITA.

are you guys referring to 8coupe.org? or 8er.org? They're different sites.
I had problems when I first registered to 8er.org, according to Reinhard the system thought I was a spammer...but he fixed that and no issues whatsoever afterward.

BMW Canada gave me an invite to do a winter driving course in Quebec this week. Tried out the 435i in RWD, xDrive, auto and manual on a large bed of ice covered in snow. Supposed to be a course to teach you safe winter driving techniques, but we had some fun with drifting, 180-degree spins, etc. Needless to say, I hadn't had that much fun in a long time. The new 4 is nice.

Hi this is me hehe, I couldn't find any where else to introduce myself, and since I own an e31 it's pretty much the best place (I hope) to do so.
I'm from Mexico, and joined this forum for two reasons... I love what BMW used to be and it's philosophy (e46 and previous) and I have an e31 and been fixing it for over a year and looking for parts.
