electrical issue?

these symptoms seem strange.

1) the cigarette lighter has power even when car is turned off and the key removed.
2) car has an aftermarket cd/radio receiver. On rare occasions, the volume would get louder.
3) when i turn off the car, the trunk auto unlocks

The head unit issue is probably with the head unit itself rather than some other electical anomaly. I agree 1 is normal. However, I am not at all sure about 3.
