Not that I know of, but you can always have one made. If you want a pro jobby that'll cost you contact either Moroso or Canton Racing.

Go ahead and bite. Plenty for everyone.

I don't even want to know what that would cost.

The pans on E36's any different? I know the oil capacity is not the same as an E34. Don't remember if it is less or more though.

Cut out a section and re-weld. Oil pick-up is gonna be a problem.

Is it to go in a really low E30?
A guess from going off your profile sig pic

Most likely a custom re-weld of the sump to suit your specific application might be required, that way you can add some beef to the base of it if you think it might get the occasional bump

Maybe some form of protection guard as well might be another option

Scavenge pump kit solves that problem.

Why not just put spacers under the motor mount? How low profile are we talking here?

I want one of these also. Wouldn't mind giving up a little sump capacity (5.5qts is a bit extravagant for a 2.5L isn't it?) to improve my pitiful ground clearance. Sadly, I currently do not have the aluminum welding skillz.

You are better off raising the engine like the e30 guys do. I cant say what that will do to your driveline angles, but far easier than modifying the pan and pickup.

As for oil capacity, i know that i used to overfill my m50 by a quart every oil change to aid in keeping the ticking down during autox. Take that as you will. BMW designed the capacity that way for a reason.

Can't raise the engine without the 6-speed trans hitting the tunnel, or I'd have done so in the first place. Skid plate would make the car heavier and preserves the eventuality of violently colliding with minor road protrusions. Different oil pan would be the optimal solution, IMO...
