hey maskellbyah...im sorry to be a pain but i really have like alot of questions to ask you an was wondering if you can point me in the right direction.. by the way my names shawn an i have a e36 jus like yours but mine is a four door. now ive had this car for a while i have a s52 swaped in my car right now but ive been getting alot of hate because i beat on my honda friends but then they all went an got turbos.so i been doin alot of research an ive seen the msupra(the 2jz swap e36 on youtube).an I fell in love from that moment.now i have 4 grand an wanted to kno how much did you spend in all to do your swap .an was wondering if i can get sum info about your car to see if i really wana got his route
do you use the r154 with the shifter extension or the one with the shift coming directly out of the trans.
do you use 2jz Power steering pump?if so, is it working alright?
I will say that I was able to find a lot of info on wiring jz engines from just searching various forums..not just one thread in particular.

Hey, I am currently undergoing this exact project with my 97 M3. Did you have to use a rear sump 1jz?
Yes rear sump is what you need. Sc300 has rear sump. Check ebay for the whole setup. Upper pan lower pan baffle and pick up pipe. And you'll need the turbo oil return hose for the rear sump. It's a aluminum y pipe and a couple of hoses.
What did u use for throttle cable??
For the stock intake manifold look at a 92-96 Toyota Camry cable.
