Tips for injector harness clip installation

I am in the process of reinstalling my injectors and fuel rail. I've got both installed already just trying to figure out how to get the wiring harnesses onto the injectors. What is the best way to get the "wire" style clips on that secure the harness to the injectors? I can't just pre-install the clips onto the harness right? It seems like it will be extremely difficult to get the clips on AFTER the harness is plugged in.

Keep the clips on the harness and then push them onto the injectors.

This. Clip fully seated for reference. Just push.

After removing injectors, one end of the clip had often pushed through into the injector opening. Try to get each clip pulled back and in its track. Then seat the injector and push the clip into place. It can require a little patience and the working area is tight. You can even have a clip pop off and then have to retrieve it from wherever it went.

Do the above^^^ and make sure you have some extras, if one goes flying they are quire hard to find, or so I've heard
