    I can't take credit for the below information, it was pulled from the Engine FAQ which somebody mailed to me a while back but I just forgot to turn into HTML (I'll covert it soon).

    Greetings; 1st post and I have a request (of course)...

    I realize this is a 20 year old thread, but if anyone's still paying attention, I'd like a bit more info on engine weights. In the post above by @Kevlar, does anyone know what's included in the weights? It seems very unlikely that exhaust manifolds would be included, but what about intake systems and/or accessories (starter, alternator, etc)? In other words, are these weights for bare longblocks, or complete, running engines, plus ?? accessories?

    Thanks for any assistance. I tried to PM Kevlar, but haven't discovered how on this forum.
