I'm all caught up on my back orders guys. Have everything ready to go except the used fuel rail covers. Those will probably never come back. I sell the new covers now for $105 and they are modified for this application.

I finished installing one of Eric's kits yesterday on a bone-stock 98 M3 sedan with 88K miles and am quite impressed. The instructions are clear, the quality of the supplied hardware is excellent, and the support is unbeatable. I started the install Sunday night and had a question regarding one of the vacuum hoses but didn’t want to call Eric at 9PM on Easter and was in no rush to complete the install so I emailed instead, figuring I’d hear back in a day or so. He replied with an answer in under 10 minutes.

When I finished up on Monday the car started surprisingly easy for having an empty fuel rail, idles great, and has no CEL or codes. I think it idles smoother than before the mod. I was shocked once I got it warmed up and nailed it on an open road – 6500 rpm comes up quick! I can’t imagine any other mod in the same price range that is as effective.

^^ sounds like you had a great experience. good to hear. I installed mine a couple weeks ago as well. great upgrade, couple that with a ltw flywheel and i'm sure you will really see 6500 before you know it!

Is this GB price still good? 155 to lower 48? If not, can you get another one going? I have the manifold but want to get the kit minus FRC.

Lots of people have trouble with my kit. Then they call me and I help them and all is well.

I am in the process of rewriting the instructions...sorry its taking so long.

I use these kits on all my customer cars as of a few months ago. Got tired of doing it the old ghetto way. I even use these on my 24v swap customers. Great product!

if you are good at following directions exactly and take the time to label everything you should have no problems. its when people rush through is when problems occur. great kit IMO.

Absolutely no trouble. The instructions were great and the car looks totally stock to someone that is not very familiar with this mod. I couldn't be happier with it.

Just curious, has anyone ran into a CA smog tech that noticed there was something different installed?

I absolutely don't see myself running into a problem where I live. Most smog stations around me are ran by redneck hicks.

My car was smogged 3 different times by 3 different places since I have had the M50 manifold. they worried about my ECIS intake even though the CARB sticker was right there. but never a mention of the manifold. it looks perfectly stock...and quite frankly...it blows cleaner #s with the older manifold.

And I haven't had a customer tell me that they had smog probs on the visual.

M50 install trouble shooting guide - non kit specific

I have started a install trouble shooting guide. It's on the front page of my website: www.m50manifold.com http://www.m50manifold.com front page... downloadable PDF.

It is in the works now though. Not complete. A good start and will eventually incorporate most problems that can occur when doing this modification.

    Hope this helps. Thanks.

all the positive feedback definitely helps.
