here is what I've found...if you leave the carbon in there it holds up better and doesn't flake off into your motor. if you scrape some of it out you weaken the structure of its buildup and if there is any left it will come loose over time because its support structure is no longer there.

when you take your other manifold off you will find this same carbon buildup. it's fine. leave it alone is my recommendation.

I think there have been no reviews because everyone is happy with the setup. The only issue I have discovered in my installs is: if any lube is used to assemble the hose onto the crank vent...it can be a little slippery for a while and may pop off right after it's put on. If put on dry and clamped it won't move. A revision to the instructions has been made...and a revision to the part tooling is in the works as well.

The setup is exactly the same as the one I've been selling for years, except for the new one piece silicone hose. So I'm sure it will prove just as reliable as the earlier version...albeit a tiny bit harder to install due to it's one piece design.

I have the manifold, but I don't have anything else. How much are your kits minus the manifold?

The new kits are ready and shipping. I have black, blue, or red silicone hoses to choose from. Shipping is UPS ground to USA and USPS to Canada (extra charges apply).

The new kit retails for $179. Refurbished and modified M50 manifolds are $159. Refurbished and modified M50 fuel rail covers are $39 *****COVERS ON BACK ORDER*****. Shipping is either $15 or $25 depending on whether you buy a manifold or not...$15 without and $25 with.

    Price totals:

    *Kit + FRC + Manifold + Shipping = $402 total to paypal
*Kit + FRC + Shipping = $233 total to paypal
*Kit + Shipping = $194 total to paypal

    Paypal is sales@m50manifold.com

    Best Regards,

Sorry man, you ordered the day I went to China for 2 weeks. Very sorry. I'm shipping your kit today.

Yes it has been done. There is a battery terminal that mounts to the E39 manifold and it needs a home when the M50 is installed but many have done it.

The new one piece hose is more difficult to install because it is one piece. the older style you could leave disconnected at the V and it was easier.

But you guys wanted a one piece hose so that's what ya got. LOL.

    Those prices are still good!!

I'm getting a few covers tomorrow but I think they are all already spoken for...so many on back order this first load goes straight out if they are worth a crap. that's the prob...the covers are so hit and miss it's hard to find clean ones.

Told ya id review, great product, instructions were 100% clear even though I didnt use em most the time (altho it was nice to reference). I give an A for all the pices and clear instructions with everything sorted through. There was no guessing, no well I gotta move this to make it fit.
Finished product without fuel rail cover and proceding dyno with UUC RSC36, bimmerworld Race Intake (had conforti on in time of picture, ps its for sale) and M50 Intake manifold untuned on a 153k track driven M3.

bump for lots of new orders. looking forward to lots of new reviews.

don't forget to indicate what color you want when you order...I have a lot of guys emailing me saying oh man I wanted blue (or red) but I sent them black because it's the default color.

No I need someone to cut and paste my content into a new OS that supports the E commerce.

I have the OS loaded up and some of the stuff migrated but I just don't have time for it.
