According to my "glass lady", I only have two (2) choices...OEM or a Chinese company called FYG. She checked all the "big names" like PPG, and they have none in stock.
Anybody ever used FYG glass? I can get the windshield and installation for around $275. Of course, the OEM is several hundred higher....plus the gasket of course for either install.
Thoughts??

I went with an aftermarket glass a few months ago. Im very pleased with it but I don't know who the hell made the glass OEM was ridiculously priced. The gasket is not cheap either. Charlie @ Gault had a nice OEM window but Gault wouldn't let him ship from NY to LA. Maybe they would to the east coast though.

When I needed a windshield from Gault, Charlie told me that they won't ship glass due to the glass being damaged en route.
I'm only a 3 hour drive from there.

If you can get glass that cheap go for it. At that price it's not even worth it to hassle with pulling the front windsheild out of a parts car and deliver a short distance. The rear glass however could be a different story.

15k on my chinese glass and it's still chipless, experiment gone well methinks. It was $250 installed (they actually had the glass in stock )
Not that it's of relevance, but I always have rain-x applied to the windshield which might reduce some scratching due to dirt under the wiper blades..

Just got mine from Charlie@Gault for 399. Went to pick it up from directly. Gasket was ~$150 additional.
