    S54 shim kit

if any of you guys that have S54's ever need to adjust your valves, I have the shim kit. I found it this weekend while I was out in the garage. i forgot I had it......

I can rent it out to you along with the feeler guages and the micrometer, or i can do the job for you if you need it done. I also have a spare S54 valve cover gasket left over from a spare parts order.
    coming soon, S54's for everything....

Hey bud, I would like to see if you could hold on to the valve cover gasket for me until I get my car down to Dallas? Also, once I get there I will be in need of the shim kit unless you don't mind shipping it to me? Let me know whats easier for you. TIA

Great, I appreciate that. I just might hold off the do the job until I get to Dallas. I won't be driving my car much as I will be out on business travel a bunch through the month of Feb.

Thanks again for helping me out.

my 02 had them done at 60k miles, and when i checked them at 100k only 2 were out of spec, and they were only .02mm out I swapped almost all of them out to take them all down to the lowest end of the spec for the intake and exhaust. just for the additional lift.

Jeff, how hard was it to do? I might need your help as this is my first time and really don't want to drop a shim or some bonehead move!

yep, it's easy, just time consuming.
if you rush, you will drop a shim in the pan.
