Rondell 58
he mentioned they were FM55s. Wouldn't that make them Fiske?
Well, I've owned this 1985 CSi for two months now and only NOW am getting around to posting some pictures.
1985 manual w/LSD. Interior mint. Dash is CRACKLESS!!! Paint is flawless!!!!
Issues:
Tough cold starts. I cleaned all the grounds and replaced all the vacuum lines and that seemed to do it...but just the other day it started acting up again. Not too bad overall though.
Car sways too much. New bushings, etc are on order. 7-series front uppers are in my hand right now.
Stereo...newer Alpine, but the lit display is intermittant. Sounds good, too bad the screen is dark.
Electric seats...some features are slow to move. Headrests noisy and slow.
Inspection light will NOT turn off. Will check my SI board soon.
Positives:
The interior is near mint.
No rust.
Complete tool kit.
Trunk carpet is mint.
Dinan chip.
Full maintenance records. One owner car!
Head gasket and timing chain 20k miles ago.
I just put on 4 brand new tires.
I hope to maintain the car in it's near perfect condition. Other than the existing chip (original in the glove box) and a K&N air filter I plan to leave it as it is, performance wise. I plan to get the injectors refurbished this summer...25 years has had to make them work less than ideal.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it's in English, thank a veteran.
Out for another test spin. Think it's finally ready to start getting a some regular use (maybe after a good rain to wash the salt off the roads).
finally on the ground. nice stance considering theres no engine, trans, interior or anything in the trunk.
this was at my tuner's shop in reidsville a few months back. i dont know the specifics

Looks good. What are the specs on your wheel setup? Tire size/offset/width?
Damn. Reason I asked was because I was trying to give my car a little stance, and my setup would have been my RKII's all around, 8.5" 23offset, with a 15mm spacer all around, bringing me to a 7 offset. Your setup looks the way I want mine (except i need more low), but you have a half inch advantage.
So you have a -2 offset up front with the spacer? Any more pictures of the front?

Yeah, thats what I was aiming for. So what is your final offset?
Most current pic of Sharkah! Still some work to be done...with full suspension and brake upgrade next!
btw, do you guys think I may have gone a bit overboard with slapping on Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's?

This is my Dad's 88.
As it turns out, one of the BBS wheels has a crack in the barrel. So he sold them to me and picked up a set of Style 33s from an E39 540i in a junkyard.
Pictures from Iceland, some taken at the geothermal plant at the Blue Lagoon. I have an E24 1986, 112.000km. Imported from Freiburg Germany in 1997, immaculate showroom condition, Karminrot, original paint, black leather, sunroof, no air condition (we don´t need that in Iceland). 14" style 5 original rims but I use 16# style 5 during summer. And now with private registration plates "BMW 635". Will keep it totally stock but planning on putting in a Racing Dynamics strut bar brace. There are not many sixers in Iceland, three as i know of in a good conditiion. Nothing beats the sixer!!! Enjoy!!

Very sweet dr stock!
Second photo demands to be put in the Shark Calendar. Love the Carmine Red, that's a beautiful example.
Awesome pictures from Iceland! Lighting is perfect.
Love the color

Nice car. I see on your bord, you have a warm sunny day only -20 c°
Indeed, -20C :p. Beautiful six and pictures! I really like the second and last ones, the colour in the last one is really stunning!
There are a lot of really beautiful 6s on this thread. I love the shots from Iceland though the red pressed against the white and blue is amazing.
