Well, finally I have pics! Sorry for the crappy quality.
Here she is when she was delivered
After some color sanding and buffing
And done
I'm repairing the front spoiler on Monday so that should do it for the exterior. What do you guys think?
I don't post here often... but heres my dads M6, had it 1.5-2 years now, bought it for 5k with 137k on the clock. its his current DD and it badly needs new suspension. but its just the right car for him. big, fast, and goes where he puts it (looked at jags and porsches before getting this.)

All I recall is dirt, sky, dirt, ambulance....
Rubinrot was introduced 2/76 and was gone after 2/77. Paint code is #018. A very rare color.
Look through this site. You can find all paints and interiors here. http://www.e-24.ru/eng/

77? Or 80? Because a code site I just found says it was gone in 80, and makes more sense considering mines a 79

The ruby and chestnut (rubinrot and kastanienrot) are quite similar, especially in online pics after a couple/30 years.
It's rubinrot, I found a sticker in the engine bay. I'll post a picture of it when I get home, I have a picture of it.
Also, the color is quite accurate for the pictures, doesn't look that far off to me in these pictures.
Edit: Picture

Note the best quality but shows my pride and glory on wheels... except maybe for my very dull cloth interior. ;-)
Looks gorgeous to me. Cloth interior looks great too!

I think that this pattern just doesn't match the bright and energy of the exterior colour; I believe that this patter should work better with a darker exterior colour. I think that this light exterior colour asks for a lighter interior colour as well, either the same pattern cloth but in cream (absolutely gorgeous) or in leather.
I already have a complete tan leather interior but I want to add to it the electric sport seats.
I had thought of commenting that I really like the cloth seats when they're in such good condition like yours, but I really like the sport seats better
Here's mine. I am from Manila, Philippines and this is a Euro 628csi with dogleg tranny. I just got her recently so she is currently borrowing the rims off of my E30 M3. She still needs a lot of work.
Well here is how I found her... looking sad and neglected. The car lot owner tried to get her running but after 2 years gave up. I came along and bought her for a song and got her running in about 2 hours of tinkering, thanks in large to the Bentley manual and the electrical diagnosis download i got from this website....
so far all I have done is fix things here and there but as soon as I can I am going to lower her and fix the exhaust. right now I have some style 32 staggerd 17x8 and 17x9.5s with 38mm spacers in the front and as soon as they show up I will have 30mm spacers in the rear. here ia a dirty pic without the rear spacers... stock height

dont feel bad, get glad, and worry about your own bearings! H&R says that these are fine for my application. 1.5" bolt on spacers in the front and 1.25" in the rear is not uncommon. I guess you are a traditionalist who likes his wheels tucked in the fenders and not flush with them. you probably dont read over at "stanceworks" then
