I totally agree. But those Mat Kinnby lenses look 10 times better then my Clearz lenses. Hmmmm. I got to go check it out. (sorry no affiliation)

I will, but I need a good afternoon of serious detail action, and it hasnt been above freezing in about a month. God, I hate winter this year.

Your car is looking good. I thought I saw a picture on TDf with the rear arches primed. What are you going to do with that?

yea.. winter's been a bitch here too.. today was the first day above freezing in three weeks!

I am going to reshoot the rear arch where that primer is.. hopefully it will blend in ok until I can take the time to strip it completely down and reshoot the entire car.

I love your M635, Nick. And I'm actually really fond of the clear lenses... They make the front end look really sharp and I think you've just convinced me to get a set for my shark!

    Thanks for your comments.

Actually I am thinking of selling my Kinnby lenses, along with the clear side repeaters as I do prefer the original amber look. They cost me a total of £120 ($195) and I am looking for £75 ($120) inc. postage. They are in new condition.

Nick - Is that the car that made the BCG calender for this year? Stunning ride!

    Alex

All cars are money pits, it's just that some people love theirs more than others.

    Hi Alex

Yes it is. Glad you like it! Looks like your pair keep you busy!

Mine's been stuck in the garage for way too long due to the snow and salt on UK roads but hoping to give it a run soon. I really miss driving my 6er!

Hey thanks guys, I worked really hard and spent a lot of quality hours to get them back to their present condition. I've been really lucky to have acquired an interior of this caliber, style, and character. I didn't like them at first, but now, I just can't get enough of them. The weird part of all of this is that they are not even close to what their original color was (much darker), milk chocolate even. Maybe, one of these days I'll get there, but its better than good for me now. Aloha!

Thumbs up Putting in my time...

My goal is to have her ready by spring.

DAY 1 (two hours a day every day)

Sharks got teeth! (1984 tapered valence, I'm making the brackets)

    Initiate Murdered Out Sequence

Diagnosis: It can be fixed. The crack is centralized to the lip.

JB Weld to the rescue (I heard of people fixing cracked heads with this)

Black to the Future (before the re-dye)

    GOOD BYE

This is coming out (dropping weight).

    This is going in!

The new seats are gonna be much lighter...

DING! Grills are done! (i.e. headlight bezels)

I got some work to do... The dash still needs to come out, as well as the rear self leveling system. New headliner, carpet, sound, seats and glass sunroof on the way. The cabin is gonna be covered with Radiant Heat Barrier Insulation too. I'll have a post with all the after pics.
