I always like seeing an E24 with bottlecaps. I think a lot of people find them too ordinary but I think they suit the model very well.
[QUOTE=BoldUlysses;18338384]I did a search and there have been a couple of these threads, but none of them have really stuck. It's a new year, so I figured it'd be a good time for a "State of the Sixers."
Post 'em up!
Edit: Thanks, Mods, for parking this thread! Hopefully it'll help us put some names to "faces," too.
Here's how mine stands:
Still need to buy that hockey tape for the wires in the engine bay... Sigh.

Here is my 1985 M635CSi that is been in my stable for only 36 hours now. Over the years, I've owned a 1985 325e and a 1996 328i, but always wanted to be a member of the Shark Club! Looking forward to diving into some of the wonky bits over the weekend (who knew a washer fluid system could be so complicated!). But first, Cars & Coffee in Chester Springs, PA.

Beautiful color. What is that?

Hi, here is my 1983 628CSi in France. Recently learnt how to adjust the clearance on valve rockers.

Just bought this 88 M6 in December. NJ car that was with its origianl owner until 2020. Unfortunately it sat for about 7 years in a garage so there is some work to be done to it, but the paint and interior are in fantastic shape. It needs brakes, wheels and tires and some work under the hood. SLS is still intact but Im planning on doing away with it and going with the H&R/Bilstein setup. Other suspension components need help but nothing I cant do over time. Im sure I will be here a lot looking for help.

I'm a new owner - Here's my 635 when I picked it up a few weeks back ....
Then it's some suspension work to follow ...
Here's M635CSi RHD #200 which has been hidden away due to its owner neglecting it for too long... They are both back on their feet now - a big thank you to the guys at Peak Performance in getting the brakes working again! New heatshield over the exhaust headers is keeping the engine bay nice and cool now. New brake master cylinder, servo booster and accumulator - plus front calipers rebuild have the brakes working better than ever. New numberplate "M635" to celebrate and hopefully a drive and catch up with some other Aussie sharks in the not too distant future

I absolutely regret letting go of this car.....
Terrible pictures....don't mind the trash can...or the one that always seems to load upside-down.
Euro '79 635csi w/the dogleg 5-speed. I should have sucked it up and squirreled this car away till I could throw some proper $$ at it.

Nice
I bought my BMW 635 in 1980. I still keep it and like it to be in top condition. New 3.6L race engine is in the works.
