WELL I HAVE A 98 740IL WITH A CHEVY MOTOR TURBO IN IT AND I WENT THRU 4 DIFFS ALREADY ITS A STOCK 2.93 DIFF I HATE IT I NEED A BETTER GEAR RATIO WHAT YA THINK OF THE RITE GEAR TO USE AND WHAT DIFF CAN I FIND TO MAKE MINE LSD?

You could prolly use the E39 M5 diff or Wavetrac.

So if I go with wavetrac LSD for my 540i/6, do I need other parts other than new axle seals? Does it require any grinding process to fit wavetrac LSD in stock 540 diff housing?
