    Preferred BMW Shop in Seattle?

    Hey All,
I'm looking for input on a good BMW shop in Seattle. I usually prefer independent shops but would be happy to hear input and shop rates.
Sorry if this is redundant, wasn't much in the "vendors" area.
    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Strictly BMW in Bellevue is usually highly regarded, and I personally have had good experiences with The Wagon Shop in Kirkland, though they're not actually BMW specialists. I'm not familiar with any specialty shops in downtown Seattle, but I think you'd have more options on the east side anyways.

+2 on Strictly BMW... They did the majority of work on my car with the previous owners, and when I bought it, it was in amazing condition. Plug 2 and 2 together, you get an amazing shop

    Thumbs up

The guys at Ravelli Motors seem pretty knowledgeable and are a small independent shop that specialize in BMW and Mercedes.

I've heard great things about Strictly as well.

I used TKO Motorwerks in Auburn when I had my S4 and was very pleased with their level of service and professionalism. They specialize in BMW and Audi. The owner has/had E30, E36, and E46 M3's.

I would avoid Fat City downtown. (no personal experience just what I was told from 3 different people and one of which used to work for them)
    Eastside offerings:
    -Strictly BMW in Bellevue
    -Signature BMW in Kirkland
    -Eastside Bavarian
all are fairly priced and have lots of experience. Strictly looks to be the busiest most of the time.

+1 for Parker Davis as well. He's up in Everett I believe. Another independent tech is Greg Mierz, he is on the forum as well and works in West Seattle

I've heard good things about TKO down in Auburn. Some members here also like Speedware Motorsports.

Between them all I've only been to Signature BMW and was very pleased. I used to work at BMW Seattle when Parker was there and I'd definitely take my car to him without hesitation, but the distance has prevented that and not to mention that I haven't needed any work on the car.

+1 on Eastside Bavarian. Good service and prices.

I also use BMW Seattle, a bit pricy, but they get it done right the first go around.

Before moving to the east side I had taken both my previous BMW's to Fat City and had very good experiences. However logistics with them often sucks, as they close at 5PM.

The other shop I've used in Seattle and been incredibly happy with is Group 2. Those guys run a great shop.

I personally know the guy that works at Dorel's Automotive in kirkland. The guy knows bmw's inside and out, and it's all he drives. I drive up from portland just to get my stuff done there. Check him out, google the company name (up there^^) if you need to find the address.

    Mechanics/Tuners

Car Tender in Seattle is great I use them all the time, plus they are Dinan Dealer.
If you are looking for nice tuner/mechanic in Kirkland, CarbConn does great work on BMW, they are upgrading my car to 500+HP RMS monster.

    -1 for G2 motorworks.

They just charged me $200 for a inspection on my rear suspension cause I was hearing some knocking sounds. Wanted a quick special eye on the matter but $200 later and from what they could see nothing is wrong. Reached out to Strictly with the same question and they quoted me $70
I guess I messed up with not asking what the cost would be before taking it to G2 but after researching around they seemed like a pretty honest shop.
