running lights/corners are on..but no blinker?

This is one of the problems I've been having recently and its really starting to bug me.. all my lights are on in the front of my car, but when I have to use my blinker, my drivers side doesnt blink. Any ideas of what this could be?

the blinker and the running lights share the same bulb, its a dual fillament. could just be burned out. i had to replace my socket in my 540 cus it melted. check the connections too

Yeah but my running light is on? it does everything its supposed to except light up more so it can blink..

lol im saying there are 2 different lighting ellements in the bulb. one for the running lights and another for the turn signal. either can be burned out

Theres a grand total of 4(3?) contacts on that bulb broseph. The running lights only utilize 2(running light power and ground). the blinker takes power from the 12 v through the flasher, and then to ground.

Is the flasher itself working? Try swapping the bulbs.

oh i'm sorry..i read it wrong. I guess i'll go down to advanced auto and pick another one up; i already need to go there tomorrow to pick up new fog lights because one of them fell out of the housing and smashed on the ground and broke they were only like 3 months old!

actually i think its a 3157 bulb witch has 4 contacts

oh well, i'll go get new bulbs and come back and say whether or not it worked..
