    wheels and tires questions

    I have a 328i and I just had the tires rotated. Shortly after I started to hear a slight ticking noise (tick, tick, tick). I hardly felt the vibration on my steering wheel but I definitely heard the slight ticking especially as I increased speed. Intially I thought it might have been a balance issue but alas it was not the problem. In fact, the tire mechanic stated that I was missing my front-left spacer. If this is true, would this cause the slight ticking noise or perhaps is it the wheel weight?
