and found out that if the blue tooth kit was installed on an older car such as mine the pairing method is different.
I read through how to pair this way, went to the garage, and a few minutes later I was calling friends via my car.

I have this button as well when I press it. It does nothing I thought it was Bluetooth but no.I also have the pin for Bluetooth and still can not connect have tried a lot of ways. My car BMW E46 2005 318i.
