    New hydraulic lifter Ina On M50

    Hello i had my engine running well is an m50b28 turbo. Than i decided to change my hydraulic lifter with new 24 (ina brand, ebay)
    I got it run engine for about 2 hours but new one still noisy and cylinder number 6 is dies and cylinder 5 sometimes live sometimes died.

    Has anyone any ideas ?

    What kind of oil pressure do you have? It is fairly easy to make a tool to take the original ones apart and clean them out.


    86 325es, 2.8L m50, S476sxe, ProEFI 128 ecu, e85, solid rear axle, TH400 trans, 28x10.5w slicks, zip ties, popsicle sticks, tape
    best time 9.06 @ 151.8 mph, best 60 foot 1.30

    5 bar at 4000 rpm , i have replaced we new one but i have not pre loaded new lifter with oil on bench prior to install

    You should not need to soak them be for install. It's pretty much impossible for oil to get in them without pressure. The should stop ticking after a minute or so.

    So what can be trouble why not gey pressure on camsgaft bearing?
    System has 5 bar pressure at this point i m not sure camshaft bear has so much oil prex
