    E32 Front Panel

Hello all. I am in desperate need of an E32 front panel. It is the thin metal strip located between the bumper and grille. If anyone has this part, let me know. The car is a 1991 BMW 735i Glaustarblau (ie Glacier Blue Metallic) but a similar color will suffice. Thanks!

so this car has the small grill? = original 735 grill I mean. That one from a 740 or 750 does not fit.

    Thanks

I didn't even think about that. Thanks for the correction! I need this part and it seems very difficult to find. I have looked around on the web for one and found one on eBay for almost $200 in bad shape. I got a used fender for the 735i for $75.00. Seems a little pricey for such a small part, but I guess I may have to bite the bullet. By the way, is it possible/ efficient to place a 740/750 grille on the 735i? Thanks.

yes, it is possible. but the you need the wider grill, the small metal parts under the grill, and a complete new hood.
check the part numbers, and see how much they cost at the dealer

I have the part you requested, it's gray in color and was removed from my sons 89' 735 when he did the 750 grill/hood swap. $50 shipped to Pitt Pa.

Thanks Shogun for your efforts! That seems a little too labor intensive for me. I'd rather just get the 735i panel- although the 750iL grille does look a lot better. Thanks again.
