MINT E28 M5 forsale in Chicago

Guys I am listing this for a friend of mine, car is absolutely unbelievable. Have seen and driven it in person and I can vouch, it is absolutely unreal!

    1988 BMW M5
    Just under 115,000 miles
    Asking $14,800

You would think the interior is brand new, I couldn't even believe it!

Pretty much the only flaw is the cracked dash.

FYI, a new replacement dash for the M5 is about 2K before shipping. Thanks to BMW's new and "improved" vintage part pricing. Speaking as someone who paid over 1200 bucks for a new E30 dash.

That's terrible! I tracked down a few for $300 shipped for an interested buyer so we'll see what he wants to do!

Extremely sharp example. Nicest ive seen for sale and priced right.

Buy a new dash? Who buys new dashes anyways? Limited demand = light production = expensive dealer only replacement cost; = Ebay used parts wins everytime.

potentially nice car....the lack of documentation impairs its value to knowledgeable and financially capable buyers....will have to be discounted accordingly for an enthusiast buyer to come in IMO.
