e36 325 autos have a cooler that might work. It looks like one posted in the links above, if you can get one at a pick and pull.
Might mount to the mounts on the radiator, since it's an e36 radiator.
e46 m3, some 740 sport shorts, F30h, LR3 and a 540it
yeah I just called today to a couple of places where they sell spare parts, used ones but in good chape, they have those for the e36 for around $40 which is not bad, so I will be ordering the Mashimoto before the end of the week, thanks for the help guys!

Same crap dude! Fark. I bet they are having issues getting these from mishimoto or whoever at the price they do and they are hanging. They could at least pick up their phone. Checked out their fb page seems like people are usually satisfied with the service. Damn i needed this asap.

Would not recommend to order from VR Speed Factory. The store just reversed my payment (after I attracted the guy's attention with a PayPal dispute). I am assuming it will take a while to get it back because of paypals policies. The guy decided to blame it on me why didn't I contact him over email. "Facebook is not for private matters."
However, I have emailed multiple times and called same amount of times. Whats funny is he says if its not for private matters why do you tell people you are out of town for emergency as show on Cheche's screenshot. Didn't say a single time he is sorry that it didn't work out. Just wasted my time as I had the job planned for this weekend. Thanks guy!
P.S. Don't expect to see a negative comment on his fb page - he deletes those. Its bad for business.

so... "Facebook is not for private matters." what is that supposed to mean? he has a FB account for his company and don't like if people contact him on it for business related questions??
yeah, never trust the FB page of ANY company... bad comments will never make there...
I guess I will have to pay the little extra most company's charge for the this rad.

Got mine installed! So far seems good. The lower hose came out good. Will eventually get the 407 and maybe the fan shroud.
And yes if you have seen my for sale ad I have a Mishimoto for sale and I just installed one in my car. That means I have two. That is the other setup I am referring to. Just want to spare the details in the thread. You wonder why? Because the guy from VR-Speed ended up sending me my order, after telling me its being reimbursed and I had an order made on ebay already for $240. So be aware of people that waste your time and money! PM me if you want the rad I will give you a deal so you don't have to deal with Tiago from VR Speed and you will still pay less than the other places.

did you had to cut the lower hose? I thought that we needed the 406 to have everything clean and nice, cause the 407 came with the US spec cars, I guess I will know if I have to cut mine when I install it.
On the other hand, I have been dealing with the Oil rad for my automatic, found an used one for $30, but the way it connects the oil lines is different, my first thought was that I would need to change the whole lines from the gearbox to the oil rad, this would be ideal, but it will be a pain in the ... to change those.
my second thought is to just see if I can cut the connector that comes attached to the fifth part, line, in the diagram below..
and used it to secure my current lines, just like they would normally do, if anyone has another idea I would appreciated, or if someone thinks that would be unsafe, let me know.
BTW I got my Mishi from a store through Amazon, store is called UnderCarParts and I got it for $227 shipped, which I thought it was a good deal considering the issues you guys had with this guy Tiago, should be here before end of next week, its already in Miami.

I finally got around to installing mine into my E32 - what a breeze of a job this was.
Pics of my install:
Old rad (if I ever meet the BMW engineer that decided on those plastic tanks, I will smack him) vs. new:
The alternative mounting "cup" needed to make the rad fit:
New rad test fitted in place:
Lower hose lined right up, upper hose did not.
Old upper rad hose:
"Custom" hose created:
New Flex-a-lite fan hardware to mount the e-fan to the rad:
Fan installed onto the rad:
Everything fitted in place, hoses attached:
All done!
The upper rad clips were a bit of a pain to install - they took a lot of force and a bit of flathead screwdriver finesse to install - it's always a good idea to have a couple spares.
All in all, this was actually one of the easiest jobs I've done on this car - if I'd realized how easy I wouldn't have put it off this long. Go figure.
Nice work. You should put a shroud around that fan because you are only cooling about 50% of that rad right nowOriginally Posted by richinvan
It won't make a lick of difference with an E-fan. The shroud helps when you have the normal clutch fan, because that fan sits much further from the radiator, and it can pull air from around the sides (instead of through) the radiator if there's no shroud. With an electric fan that sits so close to the radiator, it's going to pull all of it's air through the radiator, and that's all you can do. Having a shroud will just make it harder for air to get through when you're moving at speed on the highway - but the fan is still pulling all of it's air through the radiator when it's running. Surface area of the radiator being cooled is less important, simply because when you're needing the fan on, it's usually at idle and stopped, or low speeds, and there's not as much heat being produced to be an issue. When you're making a lot of heat (think full throttle), you're usually moving decently fast, and that will give you better cooling than the e-fan.

One thing I didn't mention is that I mounted mine with the "extended" cup on the left side of the engine bay, as opposed to OP's right side.
The lower hose is a perfect fit this way and the upper hose was painless to modify.
Either way works.
