hay just replaced my 316 engine due to water pump failyer but my car has been running sweet the last 3 weeks then went to start it after work just today totaly nothing just all ignition lights so tryd to start off of jump leads nothing then bump started no proplem so turned it off same again didnt start alarm still working so cant be immopiliser tryed spare key same thing so bumped it again was driving it around for over an hour then started to lose battery power so then i checked starter whitch looked fine then turned key and had full battery power agin dont ask me why head lights blowers full no proplems so bump started it again then started to lose power again battery light tracktion control light oil light staying on but seems to get power then lose it dont know if its a lose wire or somthing any ideas cheers

sounds like a bad earth, i would check the battery leads,alternator wires and starter wires or take it to a auto electrician. where in glasgow are you
