    GM 6L80E transmission in the E36 possible?

    Well, I am looking at the 6L80E 6-speed auto's and like them, but, has anyone ever tried to see if one will tuck up in there far enough into the firewall? I know they are a little bigger but looks like there "may" be enough room?? Seached google and did not find anything.

    Compare the dimensions to a 4L60/80E as it's a struggle to get those to fit
