Its a low milleage 90.000k car and I have no power going uphill meaning vanos doesn't kick in.Can this be a sensor somewhere and an easy fix instead of getting a rebuild vanos??
code 206 Mechanics-variable camshaft setting (VANOS)Any clues? Can i get away with a camshaft sensor or vanos solenoid?Car has no power going uphill. drives fine, no noise or rattle.

Its a B20, it is a weak engine for a heavy car. It could just be that. If its throwing a VANOS code, I think the only thing that reads out of VANOS is the solenoid.
Even with VANOS working properly (assuming it isn't right now), you probably will never have power going up hills w/an M50B20.
