Wow, didn't think I'd see this car on the market again. Congrats on the "positive direction," whatever that might be. Someone is going to get a helluva coupe.

Actually, this will be Number Three (3).
Bought a rolling pile of parts last November__it's a convoluted story...
This '95 ///M3 is definitely not a keeper, but the twinscrew *may* be installed on a customer's car at some time in the future... devilook

MMMMM Eurosport Twin Screw! Amazing looking Estoril coupe and I love that custom interior.
For the sake of completeness, I'm going to link a few of my albums to this thread; that'll put it's known history in one (1) place.
If anyone can think of other threads involving this, the Zoran, Jen, aka MZ368, and now Randy ///M Coupe, please link them here too. Thanks!

Note that Sports Cars Plus, LLC was incorporated only fifteen (15) days prior__THIS was my first official job
I was so impressed by the tasteful pin-striping.

The first car moved into the house we bought in Holland, Ohio; picture was taken about a half-hour after closing.
Wow, did that garage ever change...!

Also found this; December 6, 2004, fresh aero stuff (glad most of it is now gone, especially the side things that complicated putting the car on a lift) http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...tos-56K-beware

Every once in a while, certain old threads are destined to come back to the forefront.
TODAY, marks twenty (20) years since The Associates at BMW Spartanburg assembled a bunch of JIT parts from bins and created this M Coupe.
Happy Birthday LC60853!
EDIT: don't let the thread title fool you; it's not going anywhere, anytime soon

Phhhttt, classic-schmlassic. Compared to my sixty (>60) year old Healey, this car (and my 01/99 build M Rdstr) are just teeny-boppers
I'm okay with leaving the catalytic converters on__still the stock ones at this point__as these engines smell so stinky without them. Funny, but the OE catless Healey (predating c/c's by nearly 20 yrs) doesn't have that rotten egg smell, though you can taste the products of combustion, it's more savory (imagine if I ran pure castor-bean oil in it__it'd be like eating desert, lol).
25 years for classic status in Florida.
A bit to go yet.
