SOLD! Jen will be picking it up tomorrow.....
Mods, please leave this here for a few days. Thanks.
I've never dreamed this day would come, but since I will be moving back to Europe at the end of the year, I've decided to try and sell the coupe. I've struggled with this decision for a long time, but at the end, it wouldn't make much sense financially to have it shipped and imported overseas. I'll be taking my Mini instead, so depending on the interest, the coupe will most likely have to go.
I haven't been active on the boards in a long time, but hopefully some older Cartel members still remember me. There are quite a few members on here who have seen the car and know what it's all about. If you do a search, you will find a bunch of post that will pretty much show the entire history of the car. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
I purchased the car in 2002, and it was BMW Certified at the time. When I picked it up, it was obviously all stock and had around 20,000 miles on it. At first, I played with smaller mods, but when Eurosport released the Twinscrew, I decided to go big. The supercharger was meticulously installed by Randy who also did a bunch of other smaller 'fixes', such as subframe reinforcement, wheel bearing replacement, diff and Rogue cover installation, etc. I don't remember the exact date/mileage when all this work was done, but will look it up and update the post.
The other major thing is that the car was just repainted. Now, this wasn't just a regular paint job - Carlos at Sal-Mar Collision actually had most of the car stripped down to bare metal. I have a bunch of photos showing the entire progress. I'm sure he will chime in and explain exactly what was done - I'm not too familiar with the process to speak intelligently about it. All I know is that the car looks fantastic, especially with the roof and side gills done in black.
The reason for the respray? The car was keyed back in June and instead of fixing it up, we decided to shoot the entire car. I have only put on 20 miles since the paint job was done.
The interior, as you can see from the photos, is fully custom. The quality of leather is much better than the OEM and all the work was done by Star Motoring in Englewood, NJ.
The car has never been tracked or abused in any way. It is currently stored at Carlos' shop in Newark and can be seen M-F during regular business hours.
And now the shocker - the price. $25,000.
Please don't quote Blue Book or Edmund's values as I'm fully aware of what they are. I truly believe that my asking price is fair, and if the car doesn't sell, it will stay stored at Carlos' shop and I'll get it shipped to Europe some time in 2010 or 2011.
I will not part it out.
The title is clear.
Please email me for VIN number if interested.

I was serious about the $1000 offer. If nobody jumps on this, you give me a call.
Whoa. What a beautiful car. Have you had it on a dyno? Your rocknroad gauge pod has to be a recent addition. It's an indicator of how you feel about your car, you're hardly driving it yet you're still willing to spend money on making it better.
Okay, now I'm even more impressed.Zoran's gauge pod is "the" original. Well before Rocknroad started on his. It's one-off, if I recally correctly.
She's also responsible for getting that car to me from NY; I had just finished her Coupe and Zoran was unable to bring me the car himself. I asked if he didn't mind another Coupe owner shuttling his car to me as she was picking her own up.
Besides, I'm pretty confident that Jen would rather be driving a Coupe with Alice than flying in a plane.
OMG - just stunning!
So very classy and not overdone...
Love the blue stitching - better than OE.
