You could do E34 jousting. I saw something like that on a Jeremy Clarkson DVD a while back, could be fun.

Hmm.. maybe with the corolla.. but I'd have to borrow your e34 to do jousting with. Plus, E34Win would fail to live up the name... such a wuss.

I prefer hand-to-hand combat, personally. I'm short, so I'll go for the knees. Watch out.

I might be wanting to go also if this turns into an E34 how-to seminar on some things. If we just put a car up on the lift and went through inspecting stuff, that would be awesome. It would also be cool to work on people's cars if they had a serious job to tackle and brought all of the necessary parts with them. Eaglecomm, if you are hosting, let us know what kind of show you could tolerate/would be expecting.

I'd be up for anything.. I had a gettogether about a month ago with some local bmwcca guys and we just did lift and look sessions with some cars. Found some stuff wrong with their cars and just some general.. aha, never seen the underside of my car b4 moments.

e34win is looking to do some things as listed earlier like tranny mounts and maybe the headliner, i always have stuff I want to do. A few of us may be doing accelerator, cruise control and asc cable replacements. Maybe a microfilter change. Not sure what else.. if we can get gene over here from Wilmington, he had originally wanted to do his coilovers i think. though not sure if he already had them done. So come on down!

Raleigh is 5 hours away from me on Mapquest, so 6+ with weekend traffic. Would this be a slumber party deal where people bring a tent or sleep in their cars?

Only if I can wear my kilt.

Nah, you kids don't want a doddering old man hanging around your party. Sounds like a good day, though.

You're also welcome to meet up with me in Chesapeake and we can roll down together... and if David ends up having time, too, we can roll down in like a 3person e34 caravan.

There will be no kilt wearing while working on cars. I don't need to see anyone's man-berries. And you can't be that old.. the last meet we had Gene here from the board (not the wilmington Gene) and he's almost 80! Age matters not as long as you like to wrench.

We'll see what we can work out. My house is a bit full, but there's lots of carpet space so we'll see. Otherwise you and Cory could bunk together.
