Traction Control not working after 5 speed swap

So ive been driving my car around for close to 10,000 miles after my tranny swap and ive been noticing different things that are not quite right and one thing is my traction control button does not do a damn thing anymore. Ive tried to trace wires down under the knee panel of the car and in the shift housing area and I can not find a thing. What should I be looking for???

I didn't face this problem !
ASC don't have any connection with the gearbox
it works with ABS
if the ABS light (on dashboard )is on then it's not working (ABS) and the (ASC) also
chech the ABS , sensors etc.

If it's 535i ( it should have an EML)
then if the EML light is on
then the ASC will turn off ( ASC nicht activ + or ASC NOT ACTIVE + )
