Well, it could be a matter of mileage and such. Whether he wanted one in great to pristine condition or one to fix up a bit.

For the "preferably under" 4k i guess it should be in very nice shape and good condition overall, don't ya think? If he'd say around $1-2k i guess he'd want any touring that drives but not in a overall good condition.

I think that $3500 or so should buy me a pretty decent example. There is one for sale locally for like $1800 but it needs a lot. I'd rather spend more up front. Just something nice that I can count on. Thanks guys.

There was a real nice one on CL Eugene. 95 525it white on tan. Think it was close to $4k. I'm on my iPod unless I'd post the link.

We have a 95 525it 140k, dual sunroof, style 19 wheels, brand new tires, interior in excellent condition, everything works, cold a/c, all original, no leaks, looking to get $4200. Only bad thing is we live in Arizona, good thing no rust, if interested give us a call 480-234-5275, Mike.

Is it a 540 6spd touring? Otherwise i don't see why you'd spend that much on a touring Or it could be that the prices vary between US and europe. Over here we can get a hold on a minty fresh 93to95 540 touring for $4000.

Out here they are harder to get, in good condition, and there were less made out here!
