Accessing vehicle settings in an 06 w/o iDrive?

Looked through the manual that the dealer gave us with the car, but I am starting to wonder if the iDrive models and non-nav models had a separate book. Anything I see about changing settings, etc. show instructions to do so with the nav, no other way. One of our keys does not have auto wipers turned on, but has auto adjusting seats turned on. The other key is the other way around. There are probably other features enabled/disabled on each key as well that I am unaware of. Am I missing something? I know you can adjust a few things via the radio, but I don't see anything about the seats, wipers, etc. Sorry if this is something that has been covered before, or just plain silly.

There is usually a version with iDrive and one without.

I think MY06 models have a few settings that can only be reprogrammed by the dealer.

Really? That sucks. Hopefully we will be able to adjust what we want on our own, though. I'm guessing the dealer has a hefty charge for that service, too.

for your model year, car/key memory can only be adjusted via dealer programming if you have no i-drive.
