    Sham wow?

I see these things all the time and have heard they work well in the home. Anyone use one on the car?

I have never tried them but I would not touch my car with one.

Cleaning in my home might be a different matter but the fact is that I refuse to buy products that are marketed by screaming tv pitchmen.

I use the absorber and like the speed of drying when in a hurry.

I tried a Sham Wow on the outside of my mom's Camry... never again will I use it for anything but he interior. It makes micro swirls like NUTS. I couldn't not use them because my dad wanted to and he doesn't listen to me. I wanted to polish it for them to show him the difference but they don't let me touch it. (It's '09)

Also it leaves behind little fibers when you dry your vehicle with it. They eventually come off when the vehicle dries and you drive around but....

Get microfiber, there is nothing like it.

Microfiber sucks for drying no? When I use them it always spreads around more water than it absorbs.

You are probably using cheap MF, MF that has been washed/dried with fabric softener or both.

A good MF that is properly cared for will absorb 7X or more than it's own weight.

Get a waffle weave MF towel.

P.O.S. Don't waste your money. My daugter knows that I am always washing/waxing my cars so she thought I could use it. Since she tried I tried and it absorbs once then it's worthless. It doesnot do what it does on TV by anymeans. Piece of shite
