Hey, noticed you were in Las Colinas. I am hopeful you may know of a few good garages or if anyone every gets together to work on their coupe/roadsters together. I am in McKinney and am happy to say I have an 01 m roadster
Just trying to figure out who may have some good mechanic relationships or a place to work on these vehicles....sort of a do it yourself, etc.
thx much

Alpine E36 M3 coupe on contours on Pleasant Valley near Lakeshore on the east side, Bueller? Bueller?

I guess this was directed towards me since you mentioned Las Colinas. I don't know of any garages nearby really to do DIY type stuff. For simple things, I usually take my car up to the top of the parking garage in the late afternoon and do stuff there. For tougher work I'd recommend Bj at Clownshoe Motorsports in Dallas.
Would definitely like to check out that roadster sometime though.

Hey, I just saw my car's twin at the Sonic at Preston and Frankford in North Dallas(Beige or Champagne E30 convertible). That's the first time I've seen a car like mine in 2 year. So different from my old Ford, lol. The difference is that he had his top down and it's such a pretty day for it. If only my hard top wasn't so heavy...
i'm going to have to object to that bicycle lift for Sallie. I wouldn't want her to drop that hardtop trying to take it off with one of those.
Spotted a lime green e46 M3 on 35 northbound before 635 earlier. Surprising enough, it was a white guy driving it. lol

I don't know anything about Mercedes, any generally speaking, they don't ever cat ch my attention. BUT - this one I saw yesterday caught my ear then my eye. I heard the very deep yet subtle rumble of a V8 and noticed the Remus exhaust sticking out from under the euro bumper, then I saw the pulled fenders and figured this was no ordinary yawn-inspiring big body Benz... No AMG badging, either. E500 rolling on some big BBS's.
Mikey Fresh, any ideas?
That my friend is the ultimate Benz for old-schoolers. The Porsche assembled 500e. The car I lusted after in college. Still want one today. Decent examples average $15k...but low miler well maintained still get into the mid 20's and balls to the wall examples with lots of goodies and well cared for can break 30k, kind of like e39 M5's. Car is a screamer when tuned and set up right, but always an auto and only a 4speed auto at that. Uses the best ever MB motor, but has CIS injection.....LOVE THAT CAR
Nice spot on the E500! I've only seen a couple of those in person. One unfortunately belonging to a student at UNT (Actually his was a 92 500E and it looked roughed up).

i see one quite often that drives down lovers ln in UP, its in stunning shape and its driven by a middle aged man. I love the e500's they are still super pricey for a good example and HARD to find.
Yeah 500e's are the shit.
One of my favorite Euro cars growing up was the AMG Hammer. These are Benz's take and they really are like a baby hammer.
Growing up over here we had a then new 300e that my pops guised up in semi Hammer style with Zender parts and a SEC style grill. Holla!
