    My BONE STOCK e36 323is vs e36 M3

I smoked him.............notice I said "I" not the car. We started by tail chasing from light, to light, and ended up on the highway.

He was looking 20 feet in front of his car. I was looking 100 feet in front of mine, and using the traffic for openings, and blocking. This went on for 10-12 minutes and I kept thinking "My God. He has probably close to twice the power I do but I am smoking him with experience." It was REAL fun!

I got smoked by a suzuki suv while I was trying to sip on my strawberry frap and shift.

My tint is dark so he must have thought I was going 100%

PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST! Where did I mention 'MAD" or "WEAVING?" While I think it is admirable you feel a kinship with with your fellow " I can only press the gas and go in a straight line" there is really no reason for your obvious jealously for those who can drive well. Grow up, take some lessons, and join the club.

People like you are why I am scared to go out driving on public roads.

Try killing yourself in a more private setting, away from the rest of us.

Yep yep. The value of looking ahead doesn't end at the track - people just don't understand that.

If I'm going to be jealous of anything, it's certainly not a hand-me-down, two-generations-old BMW with less than half the horsepower of my current car.

Half the power? Probably. TWICE the driver? Obviously!

Why are YOU all offended??? Defeater wasn't even talking to you, nor I doubt he knew or cared about your and your car's existence before you chimed in.

Did you even think about the context of why he said what he said?

Well Defeater drives a Pontiac and Pontiacs are SO popular they are closing the company. The 3 series BMW has been 'Car Of The Year' for 16 years. In 16 years his Pontiac will be a trivia question.

"I'm such a good driver I kept up with an old M3!" Good for you, but until you take your so-called skills to a race track, you're a punk kid weaving in traffic who is going to cut the wrong person off one day and get a couple rounds of 9mm through your back windshield to show for it.

I wonder when high school gets back into session. These kids need to be doing homework instead of stinking up my god damn kill stories forum.

Hey hey now....let's not go throwing stones, I mean...what is that supposed to mean?

And by the way, high school goes back in session probably right after labor day.

Ah, don't get me wrong, I had an E36 M3 once upon a long time ago. It was a pretty good all-around car -- I would get another one, if it had less miles -- but it was by no means the beast it's made out to be (a myth perpetuated by later generations of M3 and the manly Euro version).

Agreed. By no means a beast, but it's plenty of fun

I too drove like how you described at one point in my life, I was surprised I when I hit 21 yrs old. While we don't know the entire perspective of the danger factor, please do be considerate of the drivers.

As well as the other posters, Jworms and Defeater are good folks.

Now that you made this thread, makes me wonder if there's a thread like this about me on a Honda forum somewhere.

Some are too quick to get upset, and thread goes downhill from there. "Be considerate" is well said.
