Exclamation High Powered LED Interior Lights for your E36

Looking for interest for a group buy for Ligh Powered LED interior lights to replace all the interior lights inside the E36. I have been in contact with Ian at www.bimmian.com and he is willing to work with us.

We will need at least 5 - 15 people for the group buy pricing.

I am finalizing the deal now and will post back when I know.

    Post if you're interested!

For the license plate, we have about 10-15 of our V3 left over. They will not throw any codes.

They are separate and $25 for the pair.

the interior LED would be $40 for the complete set.

Is that with all the lights inside....front & back map lights, vantiy mirrors, front foot wells & dome lights? What about the trunk?

so you guys got around to testing the V3 on the e36? Last I read you guys didn't have a chance to check to see if the license plate LEDs were throwing codes...Let me know if you're 100% sure, I'll get a set right away.

How long of a warranty come with these? How are they shipped? USPS, FedEx, UPS? Is that $40 shipped? If not, how much to 90012? Sorry for all the questions

V3 don't have errors. Lawrence has run them for over a year without issues. V4 will cause issues but they are brighter.

    Warranty is lifetime.

For interior LED's, you might take a look at autolumination or superbrightleds before you make a purchase elsewhere... they can be pricey on occasion, however I pieced together a kit with high quality LED's in the exact color I wanted for less than the price of any ready-made kit I've seen lately. This was a couple months ago though.

Dealextreme has some good finds too, if you don't mind waiting for them to ship from overseas. I purchased some bulbs for my city lights from them and couldn't be happier with the service - only took around 2wks from Tokyo, and the price was unbelievable.

My high-power 9-LED license plate bulbs sourced from superbrightleds were roughly $20 or so and have great light output. There are less expensive options to fit the application also. They are marketed as "automotive" 12V bulbs, however they did throw an error. I remedied this in 15 minutes with two 5w50amp resistors wired in parallel to the bulb (one each side). Now no errors, and the resistor doesn't get hot enough to burn you either .

All that said, I can't speak to the color/output/quality of the Umnitza kit. They have a lifetime warranty, so as long as they honor that and guarantee satisfaction with their product, it's your call. Hopefully this helps some of you out who enjoy customizing on a bit more personal level than pre-made kits tend to allow .
