    Question

I disconnected my battery. When I reconnected, I put in the wrong security code on the radio. Now it says "Code Wait".
How do I get rid of this message?

Leave the ignition switch on position #2 or #1 for 30 minutes to an hour. Come back it it should reset itself.

I drove it for about a 1/2 hour

    No luck.
What if I just disconnect the battery again and then reconnect?

You may have to get in touch with your dealership to get the radio code. They will need your VIN number and proof of ownership (if they don't know you). It happens all the time!

If you bought the car new, the radio code card should be with your paperwork. If you bought the car used, the previous owner "should have" given the code to the dealer where he traded it (or to the new buyer).

I assume you looked through all your paperwork as well as inside the owners manual.
