Should I buy '90 750il?
I am thinking of purchasing a car I have recently found. After my first BMW I am hooked on BMW's. I already own a car (little Honda Accord that is not running ATM) but I think I want this as a side project car.
It gets HORRIBLE gas milleage due to the v12 in it and 300 hp 12 City and 18 Highway lol.
Here is the problem. The rear tranny seal is leaking and that will cost about 300 to fix, I am not sure how long it was driven like that but I am going to check to see if the tranny fluid is burnt. If it is not I'm considering buying it. Why would you guys do?
BTW it is a 1990 750il ($1700)

I would say go for it, the price is really cheap, but why? Seems suspicous.
Have any pics?

Well no pictures but interior is an 8/10 how ever it needs a new paint job (faded) and one of the doors looks like it got hit, so needs a little of body work but I can do that much myself. =/

Well I bet you will love to drive the E32, it is a great car but does come with quite a bit of maintenence, and the more you can do yourself, the better.
How does the engine run and tranny? Have you test drove it?

Not test droven. Going to do ALL of that tomorrow and checking for any corrosion and just going to check over the whole car. I really hope it is in good shape mechanically cause I miss driving my old bimmer.

Seems a bit overpriced at 1700...
Better be in good shape otherwise.

ah mabey you should sell them here xD ill buy one
Mine isnt bad at all, just needs seats, and some slight engine work. Paint is fairly good and looks quite new with this Eagle One wash/wax soap product I got to wash it. Works incredibly great and gets a real good smooth shine on the car, brings back the black haha
