Guys we are looking at becoming a vendor on here in the near future but I thought I'd pop back in becuase I have gotten a few emails recently.
To answer some questions;
BC is NOT the same as D2/Ksport/EAC/ etc.
The Megan coilovers are made in the same factory but they are DIFFERENT coilovers. The BCR BR series is basically a step above the megans. Compared to Megans, BCR coilovers have bigger internals, beefier shock bodies, locking lower rings (so the height adjustment rings don't work loose), and a better damping curve. They end up being a lot more compliant over rough surfaces. And they tend to last longer.
Overall the BCR coilovers are just a nicer piece of equipment.
Bigger internals means more surface area for the shim stacks and valves, which leads to a smoother ride and better tuning of damping. The larger shock bodies means more room for the internals and a stiffer cartirdge, which means it will hold up to much more abuse. The BCR coilovers also come with a coarser thread, so you can adjust ride height easier and quickly. Another big thing is that the rear coilovers come with hardened rubber inserts instaed of pillowball bearing in the rear, this cuts down on NVH and makes it nicer for Daily driving.
I have run Teins on a few cars I have owned and they are just too harsh for everyday use IMO. The damping they use is very stiff compared to others.
D2 from what I have seen, does not have consistent damping from damper to damper and the build quality is not on par with the rest of the companies.
I have personally run BCR's on 3 of my vehicles and the CMS STi runs a BCR ER series.

Do the Wagons run a different setup in the rear than the sedans?
Yes they are different than the sedans...
I can check with BC and see if they have a setup for it, or if they don't, if it can be done.
How does the setup differ exactly?
What does the self-leveling setup consist of? Is it just a weight sensitive shock or does it have a hydrualic/pneumatic system?
I could probably get you 2 front coilovers if needed.
yes its pretty much just an air ride w/ shocks. it would be great if you can get me 2. rear has auto-leveling so the adjustable end links will adjust to the front.

Yup, I can do that for you
Hmm going to throw my review on here since it was velocitygarage's review that sealed the purchase for me ... I am running these on my E46 M3... recently Purchased them from the guys at Kaizentuning.com for a SICK deal. I was asked not to post the price on them since it was so low.
Install was cake as the kit comes for the most part pre-assembled. Post install the only issue I experienced was that the front drivers side shock was a little loose where it met the camber plate. This caused the shock to rattle a little bit. I had to remove the adjusting valve and retorque the nut there... since then I have about 2k miles on them and no issues.
In the last 2k miles they have traveled down dirt roads, up a mountain(briskly), through the mountain roads of Vermont and up 95 at well into the triple digit speeds... the coilovers kept up with all of it and NEVER missed a beat
Most of this mileage was put on during the New England Rally(gumball style) which really showed me these coilovers were a hell of a deal and every bit worth it... These arent cheap coilovers but they are inexpensive. If anyone is looking for them DEF contact scott @ kaizentuning.com and make sure to tell him Pete from Yuppieracing sent you. He'll take care of you...
BTW here is a pic of my car after they settled a bit...
Just bought the BR type coils for the wagon.... we will see how they work...

Hi CircuitMS
Is there a kit for E39 Tourings that currently have Springs all round? My Touring is quite rare in that I have no airbags in the back thankfully!
Cheers, Dennis!

Where can I get them for I6?
The PM's don't seem to be working for us.
For you last 3 with questions, just shoot us an email - sales@circuitmotorsports.net
I'll get you taken care of
Hey 55fanatic I can't figure out how to PM for some reason, so I'm posting instead. I'm about to switch from H&R RSS coilovers to the BC Racing kit because I can't deal with the H&R ride in Boston anymore. I'm considering Kaizen Tuning and was wondering if you could share what your ballpark cost out the door for everything was? Thanks!
