    There should be small tabs on the button that, when the button is pressed, engage the contacts to make it function.

    thanks for the reply. my problem is that I don't know what it is supposed to look like or the material that should be used. are those tabs available for purchase anywhere? or are there any photos?

    im the guy who bought the whole panel without searching first. now im trying to line up a bunch of those little electrical contact rockers while seating this panel in. made the issue worse, need 3 new contacts now because they won't apply back pressure to the button and it is certainly not as easy as popping the buttons out.
