I'm trying to do a 1jz swap in my e36. The battery cable to the starter doesn't reach. I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to attach the battery cable to the fuse box positive connection and the starter to the positive lug on the fuse box. Would that be a problem?
Why not just buy some welding cable and make one of the correct length? Its not more than $30 in material.
Doesn't BMW already have this type of connection on e36's? I thought they use the same wire that connects all 3?
