Electrical gremlins HELP

Okay Okay so I have an 89 535i, everytime I would cut the car off I would hear what sounded like a secondary motor cutting off, I soon was able to link that to my electrical controls, i.e the radio and windows. more recently i dont hear that sound anymore and my windows, sunroof,windshield wipers dont work, they arent all the way down so no bigg deal but a pain none the less. what is it? and how do i fix it?

I would say your windshield wiper relays need attention/replacing. The secondary motor you used to hear is the "wiper pressure control" unwinding. The windshield wiper relays are under the air filter box on the passenger side of the car.
