1 - lulz...
2 - just a lighting illusion...
3 - you can see what was cut in the first pic - the big open hole...i have more pics in my build thread...but i am still "mid-build", so i cannot answer the part about the dead pedal. however, i fully intend for it to look 100% factory with a dead pedal and all the trim necessary for it to look like it came that way. wiring you can see...and there are more pics of that in the build thread...but basically all the wiring is in one big cluster right in the middle of where the new hole was cut. i simply rerouted it forward ahead of the new baffles...there was enough slack for that without having to splice in additional wiring.
in-progress build thread is here, but you will have to get past the first install in the thread, as i kind of just lumped my wife's and my installs into one thread. hers is first in the thread.

An interesting thread. I will have to mull it over, decide if it is worth the effort for me, on this car. keep posting info and some finished pictures!
To be honest, I have kind of backed off car audio, and am working on some house things. It may re-kindle when I get the AE subs in IB, and the new amp/processor installed, but...
you guys still selling these? what can we do with that price? I can make these out of MDF with a friendly cabinet-maker... but I'd rather not waste my time.

Fragzem,
You have a simple choice!
1. $129 USD and have them delivered to your door.
2. Find a cabinet maker, agree perhaps $50/hour for him to make them, couple hours charge , buy the materials etc.
Easy option is 12V electronics items that are already made
Plus you also need to buy some M Parallel wheels I have for sale
Bump for 12V electronics and these excellent baffles!
Cheers, Dennis!

That's because people complain about our high prices too much
Yes they are still available. We custom make each one to your speaker specs. If you can get your cabinet maker to make them cheaper and they will fit and seal to the door card properly then you should use them instead.
Thanks for the bump Dennis!

Price is not ridiculous. He's not making them by the 1000s! Upgrading to 6.5 mids without molesting your car is priceless! I have these in my install and never looked back. Don't buy speakers from a big box store and you'll have the extra coin to invest in these.
Hello. I've been trying to buy a set for a while with the Clarus component set, but I needed shipping to Japan. I emailed you guys a while back, but didn't got an response. Would you be able to help me out?
Thank you!

You can email me at tom@12velectronics.com and I will get you taken care of.
Hello Tom. I had emailed you on the 5th, but have yet to receive an response. Do you guys have a spam filter that filters gmail accounts by any chance? Please let me know. I'm sorry to post on the board like this. There is no other way for me to confirm. Thanks you in advance.
Will these work with an E38? I want more bass but need all the space in my trunk, these baffles would make my job a lot easier.
Just to clarify, you do have these available for 2003 33oi H/K e46 for 6.5
speaker is CDT cl-61a w/ tw-24 6.5/2.5 depth
Those look really nice.
Thought I had read a post here saying avail for e46. My mistake.
What's the price to members for the baffle and speaker combo deal?
If you buy the Imagines then you get $20 off of the baffles. If you buy the Clarus you get $30 off.
However, we have halted production of these baffles until we get moved into our new shop and ETA is around 1/15/2012 or so. You can pre-order them if you like and we will ship as soon as we get our routers set up again.
Sorry for the delay, but our new building is taking longer than expected to get done.
