I have a set of dsII's non stagered from 1995 m3, Im putting tires as we speak, please tell me the right tire size so I can tell the tire guy
235/45/17
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.
great, while waiting for response I got into tire rack and it told me 235/40/17.
maybe tire rack does not know better. another thing before i go, should I go 235 F and 245 R?
edit: BTW I love ur sig man, its sick

Um.. the 1995 BMW M3 came with a 17" diameter x 7.5" wide rim with 235/40ZR17 tires....
NOT 235/45-17!!!
But more importantly what car and what width rim do you have?
If you have an E36 or E30 and are using a true 1995 BMW M3 DS-I rim (17x7.5) I strongly suggest the 235/40x17 size. Sumitomo makes a great, cheap tire for $100 each in that size from TireRack.

1995 M3 came with 235/40/17 on ALL 4 corners.
Just use 235/40/17 on all four.
Quick tire size question. has anyone stretched their tires on stock M rims, wondering how it looks and if you did what size did you use
