Will these wheels work on a E36 M3?

I currently have a set of SSR's 18x8.5 ET 32 that I use as a track setup on the E90 335... Will these fit the E36 M3? And what tire size would work?

depending on the tire, the rears may rub on the outside.

What are stock wheel and tires sizes and offset in 17" and 18" for the e36 M3?

E36 M3 use 17" tires stock not 18" you can see this via tire-rack.

Sorry I don't know what you might get away with otherwise especially for
    18" wheels.

Well I can tell you this I have 18x8.5 +35 SSR's and I rub in the rear, I eneded up getting my fenders rolled/flared.

There isn't much room between the fender and the stock 17" tires so
    it's no surprise to me.

    1995 M had a squared 17x7.5 setup, +41 offset with a 235-40-17.

1996+ M had staggered 17x7.5 (front) 17x8.5 (rear) setup, not sure of the offsets for sure but I am sure someone can speak to it.

1996+ ran 225-45-17 tires up front and a 245-40-17 tires out back.

BMW made this switch because of complaints of excessive oversteer.`

    I think a 225/40/17 would work...BUT are you lowered?

Any pics of the flare? Did you have to get a repaint? Thanks
