Got the KSP wheel spacers and installed them. Hardware looked better than I thought but I have the studs anyway. I wish they were solid (No big holes) and I wish they were the same diameter as my wheel and rotor, but otherwise they achieved exactly what I was going for. Thanks for talking me into that LockDots, 20mm all around.

Its a little high in the pics cause its still settling from being up for the last few days.
Its been a long slow process, but the car is slowly becoming what I want it to be.

Looks good, I'm a big fan of the red, especially the OBD1 style with the black rock guard.
I have a very similar car and am on the fence about going with an m3 bumper, side skirts, etc. Tough decision, as the contrast is interesting and kind of unique as is. Plus it will probably cost a good amount to get all the bumper covers etc. Paint matched.
Having a tough time deciding. I have a set of DS1s so might just commit to the 95 hellrot m3 clone look

I have wanted that damn bumper for so long lol... I just always end up spending my money where I should because I have done this a few times before... My brother in law has a reaaaaly nice looking E30 rusting away because he spent all his effort on interior, rims, body kit and paint... But it don't drive? Where I am at I can get a paint matched M3 kockoff bumper for $225. Its on the list... Also want those E30 mirrors thats hot and fits the body style. Also hate the M3 twisty side skirts, it does not fit the body style, the symmetrical sideskirts look great.
Hey thanks, I was considering painting the symmetrical side skirts I plan on getting black because I really like that look.

Hey that's starting to look pretty good Ctwide3Project. You will need some wide ass rims to fill those gaps. Staying the same color?
Thanks I appreciate the positive comments! Wheels are custom style 5"s just haven't gotten rubber yet finished paint will be all alpine white with blue bumpers, skirts, flares and spoiler. Still have to build the side skirts but hopefully that'll be in the next few weeks

Clean BM house... 285bhp is sick for N/A but I understand those grenade under boost. We all complained about our "Shitty" US iron blocks until we realized they can hold 1000whp...
Up on my quickjack and today I will accomplish:
-Replace steering lower assembly/lower coupler replaced a couple months ago so just swapping it over
-Replace steering rack (ZHP)
Tomorrow
-Fuel filter
-start cleaning underbody
Friday
-polish/wax
Saturday
-alignment/tire balance
-remove headliner/interior trim for reupholstery

Sold my daily so im back cruising the E36, and I noticed something a bit odd. The OBC is reading my "Miles left" by about twice as high as it should be. Its at half a tank saying i have 500+ miles left. Also the "Live MPG Gauge" under the tach is stuck up maxed to 40mpg. The gas level gauge on the left of the speedo works fine (appears to be accurate). I know that in the E39 there is a way to adjust the fuel multiplier that the ECU uses to calculate the fuel left, which is shows as "xxx miles left" on the OBC that is shown on the cluster; But I cannot find anything for it within the E36. Does the OBC calculate mileage left based on what current mpg it thinks your getting & how much fuel (level) is left in the tank? If it does it would make sense why it shows so high, as my MPG variable is 40+ when it is usually ~ 20.
Thoughts? Naturally im drawn to the level sensor in the tank, but the actual level it shows on the cluster is fine. Its just the Miles left on OBC and mpg gauge that are whacked. Maybe sticky MPG gauge in the cluster itself?

Word. My thoughts are that I just fixed a plethora of mechanical shit then get into my car and as soon as I fix all the immediate issues, the coolant temp gauge sticks at center... These cars are getting old. I am going to start looking for aftermarket replacements for the various gauges.
Removed headliner (lasted 14 years!) and sunroof/ pillars to get reupholstered. I replaced the entire headliner for about $200 from BMW back in 2005. Noticed it was starting to droop and looks like they are now $1000+ so found a shop.
Removed the sunroof cassette and cleaned the guides. Now see why when opening sunroof, the sunroof panel wouldnt slide back.
