Picked up from the shop after coolant leak at firewall of engine block. After replacing the heater hoses, all the plastic parts, and heater control valve finally back up and running

Pretty sure it was $1500. Good or bad deal I don't really care, around here you can't find any that are nearly that clean.

Took my 98 318ti base model to a body shop to have an M-sport rear bumper and diffuser installed. Had fun patching and painting the bumper myself, but got lazy when it came to installing it. Wife had been after me for awhile to the the bumper off the patio!

I don't want to over promise since I barely have the time to keep our cars running, but let me know if you need a hand with anything. At a minimum I have a pretty solid collection of tools which I'd be happy to loan out.

Appreciate that! My brother has a two post lift at his place that we used to service my last E36, but he's out in White Lake so driving 40 min+ is a bit of a drag (and he doesn't have any of the special tools).

not sure but with me in the car it weights 3290

I had the car corner balanced and aligned yesterday.
we were trying to for -3 front camber and -2 rear camber with a lil toe in, in the back and 0 toe up front.
but my coils maxed out at -2.6 so he adjusted accordingly. also zero'd out my sway bars preload.
all in all the car feels so much better.

I also got around to installing my Dinan intake once my Dinan filter came in.

I finished putting the top end together on my project m52b30. The exhaust cam and ledge looks horrible in pics but are actually in great shape. It has new bearings, rings, lifters, and the intake cam from a m54b30.

    Awesome! Lol

I've seen pics of both ways mostly the way I have them. The notch on the brace lines up with the cut out on the aluminum cup. If I flip them it doesn't seem like that will line up. ???

Depends on what the manufacturer recommends. I've seen them installed both ways so I don't thin it really matters. I have E28 rubber mounts with the cups on top as recommended by AKG.

Finally finished up pressing the Condor Diff Bushings in, and Put the Welded Diff in

The Diff is Super Fun, and is way more predictable. Spins the Wheels with ease, although a bit clunky at low speeds. For shits and Gigs i am cruising around without the Cat back section of the Exhaust. Also Replaced my Passenger rear side Splash Guard and Put in my RMS Intake.

Replaced rear shocks on 318i, the ones on where toasted. They were so with would not come back up. Pressed them in and they just stayed. Or Bilstein b4 shocks on. Now need to get need rotors for rear of car. May pick some up tomorrow.

Put my original driveshaft back in the car to resolve the vibration the other one caused from 30-45 mph. I swapped the driveshaft when was chasing what turned out to be dry rear wheel bearing noise but swapped the axles and driveshaft at the same time (I had already tried another differential). The bearing noise was tough to diagnose both were bad and the noise didn't change when turning in either direction. The didn't have excessive play either, they were just dry and the bearing cages were disintegrating. So now the car is running the best since I have owned it, fresh front suspension, no CEL's, not burning any oil or leaking any coolant. All of the time spent under the car and putting it on stands has made it impossible to ignore the rust in my rocker panels so I ordered those and will knock those out this spring. It will be a pretty big job but I look forward to having it behind me. I could probably swap chassis for less effort but I am committed to this one now.
