Oregon law says fogs must be off when 500 feet of approaching an oncoming vehicle and 350 feet when
following another vehicle. So if you do use them its this stupid constant on and off pressing of the button. It's mainly the state troopers who enforce it. I had a state trooper pull onto the road behind me out of nowhere speed up to pass me and than pulled me over for having them on. Had it not been so Foggy I might have seen where he pulled out from behind me..
Standard "Frenched" fog lights. ZKW projector headlights. The fogs basically fill in the dark areas the projectors don't hit.
Changed power steering oil.

After 2 months of on again, off again work, I finally got my style 5's finished. It was a LOT of work. They were not great when I got them, but after stripping, sanding, sanding, and more sanding, they came out nice, imo. What do you guys think about the color? . Here are some pics. These are going on my 98 vert, estoril blue.

Oil change. Changed the diff fluid with redline. Took off the winter setup and put on a new 245/40 R17 square setup of Michelin pilot super sports

Installed my light bar to replace my fogs since they're constantly breaking. Also installed my headers and finished my stereo. Waiting on my fog delete kit, a full suspension refresh kit, coilovers, and side skirts to ship.
Picked up hardtop for Vert. Now just needing install kit
Installed lowering springs and did the alignment. That took 1,5hour. These E36's are so simple.
Still waiting the wheels from painting...

Replaced my very worn trunk roundel
No mechanic necessary. Yay
Did a few things today , only really accomplished making a bigger list and getting pissed at previous owners.
Replaced the Shitty ass ac Delco spark plugs , upon doing so finding the po failed to replace the sparkplug hole grommets filling the plug holes with oil (explaining my loss of oil and occasional smoke on hard acceleration and lack of fluid drips) .
Then replaced the white slides for my drivers side regulator , the old ones had cracked pretty good , and found out why everything went to shit in that door as they replaced the rivets with a long ass bolt (holds regulator in ) and as the plastics came apart the arm caught the bolt twisting the hell out of it .
It's back together but I'll be rebuilding the whole door down the road unfortunately
Got my 325 reassembled after shooting new coat of paint. Didn't come out as well as I'd like but not too bad for a home job.
Unfortunately I picked up the hard top the week after painting the car. Oh well, at least color isn't too far off.
Washed and waxed the old girls!
Refinished my e39 front mpars and installed

Passed (328i) its annual mandatory inspection ("MOT" for UK folks) with flying colors.
Not sure if the US has a variant on this.
