Bought the car for 4000$ about ... spent an additional 5400$ odd on the car, but have to say I will do it again ...
The Subaru was the same thing, but the problems that I had evrynow and again pissed me off, the BMW is SO reliable.
I had to replace the water pump, since BMW never did their annual radiatior ( service check II ) services, the bastards, so when I did it propperly, I knew the water pump will dy from all the debris comming loose.
Fuel pump had to be replaced, was 13 years old ;-)
I broke the Gearbox on the race track ... the rest was just replacing to be safe ;-)

Just installed my Front shocks
Put in new motor mounts and found out my trans crossmember is broken. That explains that noise.
